What is inside a Bean2Bed™? Unlike traditional beanbags, we don’t use Styrofoam/polystyrene balls which are noisy, uncomfortable and get crushed with use. Instead our products contain a revolutionary CMHR™ foam filling which allows for greater support and more even weight distribution. So no more beans, no more refills… just comfort beyond compare! Where are your products made? All our products are proudly manufactured right here in the UK. This allows us to have one of the best lead times in the industry even though we make everything to order. It also ensures that the products you receive are of the highest quality and workmanship, and are dispatched to you on time, every time. How quickly can you deliver? We make all our products to order, starting on Mondays and dispatching on Thursdays. Any orders that come in before 10am on Mondays can be made up and dispatched that Thursday, for UK Mainland Delivery on the Friday. Anything after 10am on Monday will be made up in the next cycle and dispatched on Thursday of the following week. If you have missed the Monday 10am deadline but urgently need your goods the same week, we do offer a 999 Service at a cost of £25 per item. Because the product will have to be made individually (i.e. not with a 'batch') the production process becomes more labour-intensive, requiring additional man hours. What is your Returns Policy? There are three things in life that simply don't exist; A unicorn, A pixie, and an unhappy Bean2Bed™ Customer. We would not want you to keep anything that you're not 100% delighted with, so if you've changed your mind for any reason, we'll happily arrange for the collection of your items - and refund you in full. We are a people business and treat our customers how we'd like to be treated ourselves. How do I pay for my goods? Once your Order is placed Online a member of our Sales Team will call you to confirm the delivery date and then take a Card Payment over the telephone. We prefer to take card details over the phone (as opposed to Online) for your own security, and also because we want to check that we have your chosen fabric and colour in stock, and ensure that you are happy with your delivery date prior to taking payment. We accept all major Credit and Debit cards. Which Courier company do you use for deliveries? We use TNT for UK Mainland deliveries, and Parceline for International orders. With both of these companies you will be able to Track your item in transit via their respective websites. How much is delivery abroad? Please e-mail us at Sales@Bean2Bed.com for a delivery quotation outside the UK. Typically, delivery to the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands, Northern and Southern Ireland is £25. France/Germany is £30 and Italy/Spain £35. Can I have a specific time of delivery? Unfortunately on a standard overnight service we are unable to give you a specific time of delivery, as it depends on what other collections and deliveries the Couriers have to make in your area. We can however offer a Saturday Delivery, or even a Pre-8am, Pre-10am and Pre-12pm Working Day Service. These options are subject to a surcharge and you can ask us about them when we call you to confirm your order. You might consider having your item delivered to a place of work. We send our products compress packed so a Bean2Bed™ will easily fit in the front/back seat of a small car such as a Ford Ka. What if I'm not in when they try to deliver? If there is no one at the address to sign for the item, then the Couriers will leave a card informing you that they tried to deliver your goods and return them to your local depot. They will then automatically try to re-deliver the item(s) the next working day at no cost to you. If that attempt is also unsuccessful, then they try to re-deliver a third time the next working day (again Free of Charge), before sending the goods back to us. If you know that there will not be anyone available to accept the goods on the day of delivery, then please get in touch with your local depot to agree a more suitable day, or even arrange to collect the items yourself. Do your products meet UK Fire Safety Regulations? Absolutely - we would not be in business if they didn’t. All Bean2Beds™ adhere to the Department of Trade and Industry’s Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988. All our products are made using fire retardant materials which have been rigorously tested by independent experts. Are the products Guaranteed? Yes. All Bean2Bed™ products are made with the highest quality materials, design and workmanship. Each one is individually checked and inspected before dispatch, but in the unlikely event of a manufacturing defect occurring within 12 months of your delivery, we will happily repair or replace your product at no cost to you. Are the outer covers machine washable? All our Cord and Denim covers are machine washable. We recommend wipe/spot cleaning with a damp cloth for our Faux Suede and Imitation Fur Covers, but in the case of a major spillage you could get away with washing them at a low temperature once or twice in their lifetime. None of our products should be dry cleaned. Do you sell additional covers? Yes. Our customers find it reassuring to know that if they change the décor of their home their Bean2Bed can change with it. Or if one cover goes in the wash there is another one available. Don’t forget that the Bean2Bed™ Sofa contains two King mattresses which can be split into two Bean2Bed™ Kings with the purchase of 2 King covers. Our additional cover prices are as follows:
I have my own material and would like a Bean2Bed™ made from it, is this possible? Yes. If you have a certain material we will gladly make a custom Bean2Bed™ just for you, as long as it meets all the relevant fire safety standards. If you don't have any material yourself, we can seek different fabrics, colours and patterns to meet your requirements. For business or commercial customers, we can even print your logo on our products. Just e-mail Sales@Bean2Bed.com with what you require. All bespoke services are subject to a surcharge.
